Atlas sections devoted to weeds, pests and diseases make it possible to accurately identify threats in monitored fields on given farms. The atlases cover the most economically significant plants grown in Poland, such as: wheat, barley, rye, triticale, corn, rape, beetroot, potato, and field bean. The descriptions and photos on pest harmfulness provided in the atlases are helpful in assessing the risk they pose and preparing for possible chemical control measures.
Pest atlases are intended for everyone with an interest in plant protection. Although designed primarily for farmers and agricultural advisors, they can nevertheless be used readily also by people who are not regularly involved in agriculture, such as students with interest in plant protection who are keen to learn more about pests.
